Jakub specialises in IP law, especially in gaming, advertising and marketing, film and television, and e-commerce. He also advises on consumer protection law and unfair competition.
He represents clients before the common courts, public administration bodies i.e. Antitrust and Consumer Protection Authority (UOKiK), Office for Telecommunications (UKE) and Data Protection Authority (UODO), the Polish and European Patent Office and self-regulatory associations (including the Advertising Ethics Commission). He is a professional representative before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
He lectures on computer games and e-sports law at the School of New Technologies Law, organised by the Hugo Grotius Intellectual Property Rights Centre. He is also a neutral expert of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
