Jakub specialises in competition law, consumer law and commercial contract law. He has over 19 years of experience advising national and international companies from all industries.
As part of his competition law practice, Jakub represents clients before competition authorities in connection with business concentrations. He develops and implements competition law compliance programmes, including due diligence on the activities of entrepreneurs, their associations and trade organisations. He also conducts workshops and employee training. He advises clients on optimal remedies following unlawful acts.
He supports clients at every stage of drafting, negotiating and concluding contracts and at every level of trading. He prepares template and tailor-made commercial contracts for use in national and international trade, taking into account applicable restrictions (sanctions, pandemics).
As regards consumer protection law, he comprehensively reviews the legality of clients’ business operations. He drafts or reviews template contracts, regulations and consumer communications. He represents clients in proceedings before the competent authorities and courts in cases concerning the violation of collective consumer interests or the application of prohibited (abusive) contractual provisions.
He provides comprehensive advice to clients in the e-commerce sector.
He is a member of the Competition Law Association.
