Dominik focuses on providing comprehensive legal advice to entities in the energy and natural resources sector. His expertise includes energy law, company law, M&A transactions, joint ventures, finance and greenfield investments. Dominik has considerable experience in commercial contracts, including PPAs and REC purchase agreements. He has coordinated due diligence investigations into multiple Polish acquisition targets. Dominik is a recognised expert in the field of renewable energy and was an invited speaker on these topics at numerous conferences and workshops. Dominik advised several clients in the process of restructuring loans granted for financing wind power plants. Dominik is a recognised expert in the field of power purchase agreements. He has participated in numerous „route to market” PPAs for wind farms and PV plants.

Advising Baltic Power on securing EUR 4.73 billion in financing for Poland’s first offshore wind project. The role included advising on regulatory framework (incl. newly imposed CfD support scheme), assisting in structuring the financing, and negotiating financing documents, including the security agreements. Additionally, SSW provided comprehensive legal and regulatory advice regarding the implementation of the project
Assisted to a Polish state-owned hydrocarbon exploration company in connection with its contemplated joint venture with a foreign investor, including advisory with regard to transfer of exploration concessions, certain assets and geological information as in-kind contributions
Advised various industry leaders regarding proposed new legislation (energy law and new RES Act)
Conducted due diligence processes in relation to wind farms having a total aggregate power greater than 1000 MW
