Mateusz specialises in civil, commercial and administrative matters, particularly in negotiations and litigation concerning commercial and investment disputes before national courts and international arbitration tribunals. He advises clients from the construction, energy, natural resources, telecommunications, investment banking and transport industries, and particularly from the infrastructure industry.

He is experienced in providing ongoing advice regarding commercial contracts. He represents clients during purchasing procedures at all stages of an investment, particularly when preparing and negotiating contracts. He also specializes in advising clients on public procurement matters, both when applying for and implementing contracts. He supports contractors and ordering parties in proceedings before the National Chamber of Appeal (NCA) and before national courts when appealing against NCA rulings.
