Agnieszka specialises in energy law, with particular emphasis on renewable energy sources. She conducts and coordinates due diligence analyses of wind farms and PV panels, in particular by analysing documentation regarding corporate, real estate, construction and energy issues, including project finance. She also has experience in representing fuel companies before the Energy Regulatory Office, in particular when applying for fuel trading licenses, and in proceedings related to entry in the Register of Importers.

Selected projects

  • Advising Baltic Power on securing EUR 4.73 billion in financing for Poland’s first offshore wind project. The role included advising on regulatory framework (incl. newly imposed CfD support scheme), assisting in structuring the financing, and negotiating financing documents, including the security agreements. Additionally, SSW provided comprehensive legal and regulatory advice regarding the implementation of the project
  • Conducting and coordinating due diligence research and preparing due diligence reports, transaction advice and ongoing legal advice for project companies during 4 stages of expanding a photovoltaic farm portfolio, including a total of 100 projects with a total capacity of 95 MW for NextEnergy Capital Group
  • Advising on obtaining project finance for companies from the WPD Europe group and thereafter providing ongoing legal advice
  • Conducting and coordinating due diligence research and preparing due diligence reports on photovoltaic farms for a renowned Danish company within the renewable energy industry
  • Advising Baltic Power on financing and developing an off-shore project, particularly by participating in consultations regarding energy sales (Power Purchase Agreement)
