Monika specialises in banking, finance and civil law. She has extensive experience in advising on complex financing transactions – both domestic and cross-border – with a particular focus on infrastructure project finance. Her practice also includes corporate finance, real estate finance and acquisition finance. She advises at all stages of the financing process, from structuring and drafting transaction documents through to closing and post-closing support. She acts for both financial institutions – including banks – and borrowers.

Her work also extends to advising public sector entities, including local government bodies. Monika has substantial experience in preparing and negotiating finance documentation, including loan agreements, bond issuance programmes, and security documents, as well as drafting legal opinions. She supports clients operating in strategic sectors of the economy, such as infrastructure, energy, transport, real estate and technology.

  • Advising Bank Polska Kasa Opieki on an agreement with Wrocław Airport, pursuant to which the bank will carry out a long-term bond issue worth PLN 550m to finance an expansion of the airport’s current infrastructure and build new infrastructure
