Prof. Marcin Asłanowicz is the President of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Confederation Lewiatan. His professional practice involves handling litigation and arbitration, as well as resolving disputes as an arbitrator. Before joining SSW, he worked in leading law firms for 25 years (specialising in M&A until 2007, and in litigation and arbitration since 2007).
Independent international rankings since 2014 have recognised Marcin in categories such as: Ranked Lawyer – Dispute Resolution (Chambers Europe 2020 – 2023); Ranked Lawyer – Arbitration (Chambers Europe 2022 – 2024); Ranked Lawyer – Dispute Resolution and Arbitration (Chambers Global 2024) and Recommended Lawyer – Dispute Resolution (Legal 500).
He is the author of more than 60 academic publications, including 3 monographs and 3 commentaries. He graduated in law from the University of Warsaw and gained doctoral and doctor habilitatus degrees at the Institute of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Professor and the Dean of the Faculty of Law at SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities.
