SSW shortlisted for four Legal 500 CEE Awards 2026 nominations

SSW has once again been shortlisted in multiple categories for the Legal 500 Central and Eastern Europe Awards 2026, recognising the strength of our leading energy, infrastructure, real estate and corporate/M&A practices, as well as our experience in handling complex cross-border transactions across Poland and the wider CEE region.

This year, SSW and our lawyers have been nominated in the following categories:

Individual nominations

  • Piotr Spaczyński – Energy Lawyer of the Year
  • Monika Szczotkowska – Commercial, Corporate and M&A – Next Generation Partner

Firm nominations

  • SSW – Energy Firm of the Year
  • SSW – Real Estate and Construction Firm of the Year

These nominations reflect the continued development of our practice and our involvement in some of the most significant and complex projects across the energy, infrastructure, real estate and corporate sectors. They also highlight the depth of our expertise in advising investors, developers, financial institutions and multinational businesses on high-value transactions and strategic projects throughout Central and Eastern Europe.

Over the past year, our teams have advised on landmark investments, major M&A transactions, infrastructure developments and energy projects, supporting clients navigating an increasingly complex regulatory and business environment.

The recognition is particularly meaningful as it reflects areas that have become key pillars of growth for SSW in recent years. Our Energy and Infrastructure team continues to play a leading role in the market, advising on renewable energy, conventional energy, strategic infrastructure and energy transition projects. At the same time, our Real Estate and Construction practice remains at the forefront of some of the most sophisticated real estate investments and development projects in Poland.

The nominations also underscore SSW’s strong position in cross-border transactions. As a trusted local counsel to leading international law firms, private equity houses, investors and multinational corporations, we regularly support clients on complex projects spanning multiple jurisdictions across Europe and beyond.

As one of Poland’s leading independent law firms, SSW combines local market insight with international experience, helping clients unlock opportunities and execute strategic projects across Poland and the wider CEE region.

We are grateful to our clients and business partners for their continued trust and collaboration. Their confidence in our teams enables us to work on many of the region’s most ambitious and transformative projects.

We would also like to congratulate all firms and individuals shortlisted for this year’s awards.

The winners will be announced at the Legal 500 Central and Eastern Europe Awards ceremony on 15 October 2026 at the Westin Hotel in Warsaw.
