With pleasure and satisfaction we share the information that SSW, similarly as in previous years, has been recognised in the independent international ranking Chambers Europe 2018.
This year, as many as four practice areas of SSW have been included on the Chambers recommendation list (Band 4):

Dominik Strzałkowski is a well-regarded lawyer assisting with issues in the renewables and mining sectors. Clients highlight his "very helpful suggestions" and appreciate that he is "very open about our ideas."
Patrycja Goździowska moves up the rankings in recognition of positive feedback and strong market presence. She is described as an "energetic and business-oriented" tax adviser with a "balanced approach." She has extensive experience in advising companies and individuals, covering areas such as M&A transactions and restructuring projects.
Tomasz Wickel enters the rankings on the back of market recognition. He is noted for his experience in transactional mandates, including group restructurings. Sources describe him as "very client-oriented" and praise his "good understanding of business reality."
Paweł Chyb, Ph.D. enters the rankings due to positive feedback from market sources. He assists clients from a variety of sectors including private equity funds and new technology clients on M&A and joint venture projects. He is valued for his goal-oriented approach and "a deep understanding of business aspects."
Up-and-coming Szymon Okoń, Ph.D. enters the rankings this year as a result of visibility and positive market feedback. His key focus is ECM but he also assists with DCM matters. He predominantly represents companies and also acts for investment funds. Sources praise his people skills, proactive approach and understanding of commercial issues. A client says he is "fluent in all business issues related to the IPO process."
