SSW advised Orlen on concluding contracts with Doosan Skoda Power to modernise a Heat and Power Plant in Płock. The contract value exceeded PLN 540 million

SSW Pragmatic Solutions advised Orlen S.A. and negotiated two contracts concerning Orlen’s Heat and Power Plant in Płock. The first was an EPC contract for engineering, procurement and construction of TG4 and TG5 extraction back-pressure turbine sets, each with a capacity of 55 MW, and related infrastructure. The second was a long-term service agreement (LTSA). The value of the EPC contract alone exceeds PLN 540 million.

The investment is part of the modernisation of the Heat and Power Plant, based in Płock on the Orlen S.A. site.

SSW’s legal services included comprehensively supporting Orlen S.A. during the tender procedure, preparing draft contracts and negotiating with bidders. The selected contractor is Doosan Skoda Power s.r.o.

Orlen S.A. was advised and represented in the negotiations by Hubert Wysoczański PhD (Partner), who leads the Infrastructure team and Katarzyna Cybulska (Counsel) from the Infrastructure team.
