SSW advised Masterchem

SSW Pragmatic Solutions was the legal advisor to the owners of Masterchem in the sale of their majority stake in Masterchem, a leading Polish manufacturer of PET containers, to Logoplaste Group – a global value-added service provider and the producer of rigid plastic containers.

Masterchem’s founding family will retain a significant minority stake in the company and will remain actively involved in the management of the business. Both Logoplaste and Masterchem believe that the newly formed partnership will be a great opportunity to grow the business and expand to new markets, while reducing risk and time to market.

The transaction is subject to regulatory approval, and is expected to be finalized in the first quarter of 2020.

The project was complex and required the specialized input of SSW experts from a range of different areas of law.
