SSW advised Dohwa Engineering on the acquisition of CE Project Group

SSW experts advised Dohwa Engineering, a Korean engineering and construction company, on the acquisition of CE Project Group, a highly-specialised Polish railway engineering company. 

Dohwa Engineering is a listed South Korean company that executes projects worldwide. SSW also advised on the establishment of the Polish branch of Dohwa and its entry into the Polish market. 

The acquisition of CE Project Group by Dohwa Engineering was a multi-faceted, cross-border project. The transactional was led by partners Mateusz Chmielewski supported by head of SSW’s Korean Desk, counsel Se-Jeoung Kim. Financial due diligence was conducted by the SSW Finance. Tax due diligence was carried out by Olga Panek (Senior Associate). Marcin Cetnarowicz (Partner) and Joanna Wymiatał (Associate) provided counsel on employment law matters, while Jakub Kubalski (Partner) advised on IP and data protection matters.
