Michał Bagłaj to speak with the Mayor of Warsaw at PIDU Connect

On 18 November 2026, Centrum Kreatywności Targowa in Warsaw will host PIDU Connect | Warsaw: “Protective Structures: How to Move from Planning to Implementation?”. Organised by the Polish Dual Use Chamber, the event will focus on the practical aspects of developing protective infrastructure and integrating security considerations into investment planning and urban development.

One of the highlights of the programme will be a discussion between Michał Bagłaj, Partner at SSW Law & Beyond, and Rafał Trzaskowski, Mayor of Warsaw. The conversation will explore the development of protective structures from the perspectives of the city, business and the investment market.

The event will also cover topics including:

• how to combine the need to protect residents with planned investment projects;
• factors affecting the feasibility of such projects, including location, costs, schedules and the allocation of responsibilities;
• how to incorporate protective functions into business plans, the day-to-day use of buildings and their maintenance;
• the opportunities for expanding protective infrastructure, including where, at what cost and how quickly it can be developed.
