Maximilian Piekut a speaker at US-CEE Connection Weekend 2025 in Kraków
Maximilian Piekut will be a featured speaker at the 3rd US-CEE Connection Weekend, taking place on June 13–14, 2025 in Kraków, Poland.
Maximilian will take part in Panel 6: The Future of Energy Transition: Perspectives from the EU and the US, scheduled for June 14, 11:30–12:45. This panel will explore the regulatory frameworks driving – and sometimes hindering – energy transition efforts on both sides of the Atlantic.
Organised under the theme “Safeguards or Barriers? EU & US Perspectives on Regulation,” the event is hosted by the School of American Law at Jagiellonian University and The Catholic University of America. It brings together thought leaders from government, academia, and business to examine critical transatlantic issues, from sustainability and digital regulation to international trade and capital markets.
Maximilian’s extensive experience advising energy-intensive industries on renewable energy, EU ETS compliance, ESG strategies, and non-financial reporting will provide a valuable perspective on the evolving policy landscape.
We invite all attendees to join this important discussion and connect with Maximilian during the conference.
