SSW’s lawyers advised Clients (two natural persons) during a transaction to sell a majority package of shares in the company spółki Mlekoma Sp. z o.o. to Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff Company (Sadafco).
The deal was closed on 2nd July 2018. Mlekoma focuses its activities on the production and sale of dairy products and semi-finished products. It is Sadafco’s first investment in this part of Europe.
Apart from the SSW team, the following entities were involved in the transaction: Haitong Bank (as the Sellers’ investment advisor), Accreo (the Sellers’ tax advisor), CMS law firm (Sadafco’s legal advisor) and Ernst & Young (Sadafco’s tax and financial advisor).
The transaction was handled by one of SSW’s transaction teams, managed by dr Paweł Chyb (Partner in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department). Katarzyna Solarz (Counsel in the Mergers and Acquisitions Department) also played a leading role. Other involved persons included Joanna Tomaszewska (Partner in the Intellectual Property, New Technologies and Information Protection Department), Aleksandra Cisoń – Kurdziel (Intellectual Property, New Technologies and Information Protection), Małgorzata Deruś (Mergers and Acquisitions Department) and Anna Haciuk (Mergers and Acquisitions Department).
