SSW lawyers advised Shoper S.A. on acquisition of the internet marketing agencies Selium and Sempire Europe

SSW lawyers advised Shoper S.A. on acquisition of internet marketing agencies Selium and Sempire Europe. The latest investments are to strengthen Shoper group’s offer in the area of omnichannel and online advertising.

Shoper is the owner of Poland’s most popular e-commerce platform for running an online shop in the subscription model (SaaS). Since July 2021, the company is listed on the main market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

The Sempire agency carries out performance marketing activities using Google, Facebook and YouTube advertising platforms which are a comprehensive complement to the SEO service for online shops. SEMPIRE’s services are used mainly by clients from the SME segment, including well-known brands such as 99Rent or Ania Kruk. In turn, Selium belongs to the group of agencies supporting entrepreneurs in conducting sales on Internet trading platforms (marketplaces) in North America, Asia and Europe. The company offers entrepreneurs full support in launching and running sales on marketplaces – from concluding contracts to managing the sales process.

SSW team was led by Tomasz Kwaśniewski (counsel) with support from Dawid Brudzisz (senior associate), Paweł Izdebski (senior associate), Aleksandra Kulik (associate) and Marcin Traczyk (associate). The team was supervised by Szymon Okoń (general partner).
