SSW lawyers advised on the construction of a new logistics centre for Żabka

Lawyers from SSW Pragmatic Solutions advised 7R on the contractual negotiations regarding the construction of Żabka’s largest and most innovative logistics centre in Poland. It will have a total area of approx. 60,000 sqm. This strategic investment for the chain store is scheduled to be completed in mid-2022.

Our support included advising on the negotiation process for: the lease agreement, agreements for the purchase of real estate for the investment, a development management agreement (DMA) and investment documentation. This resulted in Żabka joining the project as its investor.

The logistics centre, located near Radzymin, is being built in the built-to-suit formula, i.e., it is being constructed according to the client’s expectations and requirements. It will be the largest Żabka warehouse in Poland. The centre will feature refrigerated areas and systems supporting the automation of logistic processes. The building will be powered by green energy from PV panels. The investment will also use special smog-eating paving stones and towers, as well as a grey water management system to increase the efficiency of its processing. In 2023, the logistics centre is expected to be fully equipped with automated solutions.
