SSW advised the majority shareholder of Krajowy Integrator Płatności S.A. on Bank Pekao S.A.’s investment in the company

SSW Pragmatic Solutions acted as a legal advisor to the majority shareholder of Krajowy Integrator Płatności S.A. on the acquisition of a 38.33% stake in KIP by Bank Pekao S.A. The parties signed a preliminary agreement. The finalization of the agreement will depend on the decision of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, but we expect the deal to be completed at the end of the first quarter of 2021.

KIP is a Polish licensed payment institution, and it operates one of the leading online payment systems in Poland – Tpay.com. Over the past 10 years, KIP has developed a comprehensive system which seamlessly integrates with vendors’ platforms, thus facilitating the fully automated processing of payments for the e-commerce sector.
