SSW acted as a legal advisor in the WDB S.A. sale transaction

The team of SSW Pragmatic Solutions lawyers advised on the sale of 100% of WDB S.A. (the leading insurance broker on the Polish market) shares to the British industry investor PIB Group.

WDB S.A. is one of the leaders on the Polish insurance market. It offers a wide range of life and non-life insurances, focusing on clients from the real estate and transport sectors. The company has offices in Wrocław and Warsaw.

PIB Group is a rapidly growing group of insurance brokers, controlled by Carlyle, one of the largest global private equity funds. This is the third foreign transaction of PIB Group. WDB joins Marx (Germany) and Optis Insurance (Ireland). WDB is to be the vehicle for further acquisitions in Poland.
