Partner Marcin Asłanowicz, together with Senior Associate Ewa Załęska and Senior Associate Damian Majda, strengthen SSW’s Litigation and Arbitration practice

Prof. Marcin Asłanowicz, an experienced attorney who specializes in litigation, arbitration and civil law, has joined SSW.

He has worked for leading law firms for over 25 years. Until 2007, his main area of advice was mergers and acquisitions transactions, whereas since 2007 he has focused primarily on litigation.

Independent international rankings have recognized Marcin in various categories since 2014: Ranked Lawyer Dispute Resolution (Chambers Europe); Ranked Lawyer Arbitration (Chambers Europe) and Recommended Lawyer Dispute Resolution (Legal 500).

Along with Marcin, SSW’s dispute resolution team is strengthened by two Senior Associates: Ewa Załęska (Attorney at law (Radca prawny)) and Damian Majda (Attorney at law (Adwokat)).

For the past 5 years, Damian has worked as a member of a litigation and white-collar crimes practice. His area of expertise includes commercial litigation, labour law and administrative cases. He has also handled a number of criminal proceedings, representing clients in pre-trial proceedings and before criminal courts.

Ewa advises clients in proceedings before the common courts and arbitration tribunals. She has also handled numerous settlement negotiations and mediations. Ewa also has experience in handling tender proceedings and representing clients before the National Chamber of Appeals.

We are extremely glad that such leading professionals have joined our dispute resolution team. SSW has 7 partners and 20 lawyers active in litigation and arbitration issues on a day-to-day basis, making us one of CEE’s largest dispute resolution practices. I am happy that SSW’s open business approach has attracted some of the top talents to our team. More is to come but, for now, I wish good luck to the new joiners.
