Mariusz Słowikowski joins SSW as a Partner at SSW Advisory
Mariusz Słowikowski has joined SSW, taking on the role of Head of SSW Advisory. Mariusz is a recognised expert with over twenty years of experience in financial advisory. He brings exceptional skills and extensive experience gained in both Polish and international markets to SSW. His areas of specialisation include advisory on mergers and acquisitions, financial due diligence, financial modelling, and business valuations for transactions, restructuring, financing, litigation support, and financial reporting. Mariusz has successfully completed over 200 transaction advisory projects across various industries, including financial services, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, the energy sector, and the IT and modern technology sectors.
For more than 17 years, Mariusz worked at Deloitte, where he led large, multidisciplinary teams, delivering comprehensive advisory solutions at a strategic level for complex, international M&A transactions.
Throughout his career, Mariusz has been involved in numerous prestigious transactions within the Polish financial sector, advising leading financial institutions and Private Equity funds on due diligence, valuations, fairness opinions, restructuring projects, and capital markets initiatives. He has also advised government institutions from Poland and the CEE region on issues related to the forced restructuring of banks. His expertise goes beyond the financial sector, including projects involving shipbuilding companies, manufacturing industries, energy production (including renewable sources), pharmaceutical companies, transportation firms, and businesses in the retail, e-commerce, and IT sectors.

Mariusz previously gained professional experience at the Private Equity fund Copernicus, the Danone Group, and a Canadian investment bank in Frankfurt am Main. He is a graduate of Kozminski University in Warsaw, where he earned a master’s degree in economics. In addition, he shares his expertise as a lecturer on business valuations in postgraduate studies at Kozminski University and the Warsaw School of Economics. He is also the author of publications on due diligence processes.
