Low-emission mobility (DOWNLOAD the report)

Environmental challenges force politicians to implement principles of environment-friendly economy. Meanwhile, the automotive industry is also pursuing its own objectives: road transport is responsible for 14 per cent of global carbon emissions, a figure that must be radically reduced.

With promotion of sharing and the dwindling interest taken by the young generation in car ownership, the automotive market will continue to evolve. It is possible that we will see the rise of a specialised city car catering to the needs of carsharing operators. Changes in consumer behaviours will also lead to a decline in automotive sales.

More about the future of the automotive industry in the PZPM, KPMG and SSW report.
