Labour law: Penalties for misusing the special “antivirus” rights
In today’s issue of Dziennik Gazeta Prawna (Legal News Daily), Bartosz Tomanek comments on the threat of the coronavirus from the point of view of labour law. Among others, he analyses the special rights which are granted to employees and employers by the antivirus law and discusses the risk of its misuse.
The employers may consider implementing the appropriate procedures that are contained in the rules and codes of conduct, including the order to work from home. It should also be emphasised that the employers are in difficult situation, in particular because they do not have sufficient information about the actual health condition of their employees.
