Forum Data Center 2025 – European Data Sovereignty
SSW is a patron of the fourth edition of the Data Centre Forum, a unique initiative bringing together experts from the digital infrastructure industry, public administration, business and academia. The event will take place on 17 November at the SSW office in Warsaw. The theme of this year’s edition is “European data sovereignty”.
The Forum will focus on the role that Poland and Europe can play in building a secure, independent and sustainable data infrastructure.

Panel 1: Digital sovereignty – between politics and technology
What role should public administration play in capacity building, and what role should the private sector and academia play? How to build trust in Polish cloud solutions and data infrastructure?
Panel 2: Regulatory challenges for legislators and the sector
What legal and regulatory challenges do data centre operators and cloud service providers face in the context of the implementation of DORA and NIS2?
Panel 3: Cloud computing in Poland – vision and business realities. CEO’s roundtable
Discussion among leaders of companies affiliated with the Polish Cloud Association on the future of the Polish cloud market, cooperation with European initiatives, and competitiveness vis-à-vis global providers.
Panel 4: Supercomputers and the cloud – a shared future for data infrastructure
How to combine the potential of HPC with cloud services and develop cooperation between the worlds of research, administration and business?
The event will be closed with conclusions and an announcement of the document: “The Polish Cloud’s position on digital sovereignty and data infrastructure”, with reference to European initiatives such as EuroStack and new EU standards for resilience, energy efficiency, and data centre security.
