On 6 October, at the offices of the “Lewiatan” Confederation in Warsaw, as part of the “Lewiatan” Academy initiative, a training session titled “Company management vs. legal responsibility of management board members and the possibilities of its limitation” was held. The training was delivered by lawyers from SSW Law Firm: Dr Joanna Tomaszewska, Iwona Waglowska, Michał Badowski, Jakub Jędrzejewski and Marcin Muchowski.
The lawyers from SSW presented selected legal aspects concerning the activities of a company, which are relevant from the board members' perspective. They concerned, among other things, corporate governance, tax obligations, intellectual property and competition rules. The training was addressed to all the companies associated in the “Lewiatan” Confederation.
