On June 5th, under the official patronage of the Embassy of Malta and Honorary Consul of Malta in Poland, SSW Pragmatic Solutions organized a special meeting for representatives of the financial services in Malta.
The first of the speakers – Hon. Christian Cardona, Maltese Minister for Economy, discussed the process of regulation of cryptocurrencies, which makes Malta a safe haven for cryptocurrency businesses. The other speeches were also about the Maltese regulations which support the development of the traditional financial sector, blockchain technology and cryptocurrency market.
Piotr Gałka and Szymon Ciach, lawyers from the Digital Transformation Team in SSW Pragmatic Solutions, spoke about the most important legal and business matters, corporate challenges associated with the implementation of blockchain. Our speakers emphasized the importance of an adequate management model as well as specific legal issues such as smart contracts and personal data protection.
