Meet our team

We understand how important support is for those
who need it the most.

We support the Polish action Szlachetna Paczka – the employees of SSW Pragmatic Solutions in Warsaw and in Poznań are engaged in that action, together preparing packages for the families included in that valuable initiative.
SSW supported the organizers in creating the legal structure of the initiative, advised on conceptual work on the principles of conducting the action, contractual relations between partners, and on shaping the rules of personal data protection and tax issues. The law firm’s lawyers prepared the relevant documents for the website and supported the partners of the action with regard to the contractual documentation concerning their participation in “Dajże kompa”.
We have become involved in a nationwide educational project named „Uniwersytet Sukcesu” (University of Success), organized by the Digital University Foundation. Its purpose is to empower and support young women and girls from orphanages and educational care facilities who enter on the labour market.
SSW Pragmatic Solutions participates in promoting the activities of Między Niebem a Ziemią – a foundation helping terminally sick children and their families. We promote the annual actions of the Foundation and also successfully participate in additional initiatives.
We are a member of the TrustLaw programme which constitutes a global platform for pro bono projects and was established within the Thomson Reuters Foundation. Currently, over 400 law firms and lawyer teams from all around the world participate in the programme.
We supported the Ashoka Foundation. The case covered an analysis of the admissible forms of commercial activity by social companies conducting their activities in the form of social cooperatives. The support granted to the foundation included drawing up a legal opinion and obtaining an interpretation of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy concerning the provisions of law regulating the operations of social cooperatives.
We supported the Homo Faber association. Our aid included answering the questions of the beneficiaries of the association concerning eviction without the right to a social unit (including an analysis of available legal resources in the case and access to the court enforcement officer’s files), and then preparation of a claim for determining the right to a social unit for the beneficiaries of the association.
We participated in the clothing collection for homeless people at Kamiliańska Misja Pomocy Społecznej.
We helped the Panoptykon Foundation in two cases, drawing up an opinion on the ability of the Foundation to receive donations in bitcoins and answering the questions concerning processing of the personal data of the Foundation’s donators.
We cooperate with Pro Bono Centre – a project executed by the Polish Legal Clinics Foundation whose main goal is to facilitate contacts between law firms and non-governmental organisations who are the beneficiaries of the programme within the scope of free legal aid.
Apart from pro bono activities, we also join various social actions, for example we participate in charity auctions and collections, or creation of Christmas gift packs with Warzyła Sroczka Foundation – a non-governmental organisation promoting healthy and ecological nutrition among children in schools around Poland.
We donate funds to the Association of Wounded and Injured in Missions Abroad, supporting Polish war veterans.
We cooperated with Institute of Advanced Legal Skills – a foundation supporting development of skills connected with performance of legal professions.
