Invitation to the American Law Program event: a lecture by prof. Brian G. Svoboda

SSW together with the Jagiellonian University and the Catholic University of America would like to invite everyone to an event organised by the American Law Program.

Professor Brian G. Svoboda gives a lecture “America Votes 2024: A Guide to the Administration of the U.S. General Election” on 20 March 2024.

The lecture starts at 5:30 p.m. with the discussion planned for 8 p.m.

The agenda:

  • Pre-Election Issues: voter registration, absentee and early voting, polling places, voting technologies
  • Election Day: voter turnout, provisional ballots, polling place problems
  • Post-Election Processes: counting, canvassing, certification, recounts, contests

 

All are welcome, registration is not required.
