SSW’s lawyers advised major shareholders of Growag on a shares sale of Growag to Recaro

Growag is a Polish company, specializing in designing and manufacturing high-quality interior fittings for rail vehicles, primarily carriage seating for short and long distances. Growag focuses on lightweight and durable designs to reduce the weight of railcars, and has achieved great success in Poland and the Eastern European market.

Recaro is a German company that has been on the market since 1906. Initially it mainly manufactured seats for cars and airplanes, and it is now also present in the child seats and prams segments. In 2020, the Group’s consolidated sales amounted to more than €300 million. The Group currently employs more than 2,200 people around the world.

Recaro Group is expanding its product range. The investment in Growag is the company’s first investment in the production of seats dedicated for rail vehicles.
