The Games Industry Law Summit is a collaborative community of the gaming industry’s top legal professionals from 50 countries, powered by two annual events.
It includes professionals involved in the most elite aspects of the gaming industry in CEE.
This will be a fascinating event, during which law and gaming experts can engage in discussions, exchange ideas and search for innovative solutions.
This is the 8th edition of the Summit runs. It will bring together 300 experts from over 200 companies – studios, platforms, associations & key industry law firms. SSW is one of the Summit’s sponsors and will be represented by Jakub Kubalski and Łukasz Karpiesiuk.
The programme includes discussions on: generative AI and IP from the US and EU perspectives, the Chinese games market, trade restrictions (including sanctions) affecting the international games industry, finance-raising by gaming studios, the importance of identifying in-house legal teams, and many others.
The Summit takes place on 6-8 September 2023 in the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius.
