Igor Muszyński speaker at the conference: “Power industry and energy law. Current state and prospects for development on the 100th anniversary of the Electricity Act of 21 March 1922”.

In connection with the 100th anniversary of the enactment of the first Polish law regulating the electricity sector, which falls in 2022, the De Republica Institute decided to organise a conference that encourages a multifaceted reflection on significance and future of the power sector in Poland, taking into account the European context and global development trends which are indispensable in the era of globalisation. 

The conference was organised by the De Republica Institute whose main task is unlocking the potential of Polish science by promoting and popularising Polish research thought in the field of the humanities and social sciences, as well as creating mechanisms and social capital to organise around the idea of statehood. 

Our expert took part in  a plenary discussion ” Quo vadis energetica?” which took place on 20 May 2022. During this panel, the issue of admissibility and principles of granting state aid aimed at strengthening the position of selected enterprises or economic sectors was discussed, among others. 

Igor Muszyński focused, among other things, on how we will use energy in a dozen or more years: –

“What will we heat our homes with in twenty or thirty years? What fuel will our cars be running on? How will we solve our heating needs in the future?”
