Jakub Kubalski now plays for SSW

A new partner – Jakub Kubalski – has just joined SSW Pragmatic Solutions. He has extensive experience in intellectual property law, and is a recognized expert in the legal matters of the digital world. Jakub has joined our Intellectual Property practice as a partner.

During his career, Jakub Kubalski cooperated with the biggest video games developers and publishers. He advised one of the largest global distributors of MOBA games, among others by representing them before the Advertising Ethics Committee. He also has experience in obtaining  financing from the GameINN program. Before joining SSW, for several years he cooperated with Domański Zakrzewski Palinka sp.k. law firm.

Jakub has absolutely unique experience, for many years he has advised companies from the interactive entertainment industry. We are very pleased that we can welcome him in the team. Jakub Kubalski participated, among others, in consulting and negotiations on numerous projects for interactive entertainment companies, cooperating with both the largest developers and independent creators. He has experience in drafting and negotiating contracts specific for the marketing, television, film and eCommerce industries.

He gives lectures on the law of computer games and eSports at the School of New Technologies Law, organized by the H. Grocjusz’s Intellectual Property Laws Centre.

Jakub is a member of the District Bar Council in Warsaw, graduated from the American Law School managed by Levin College of Law (University of Florida). He also participated in Advanced Summer School on Trademarks in Washington D.C., organized jointly by WIPO and USPTO.
