UBO registry – practical implications

The Central Register of Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBO) has been functioning for a week now. In her article published by Rzeczpospolita, Katarzyna Solarz explains its consequences for the entrepreneurs.

All Polish companies have to submit information about their beneficial owners to the register. The register is open and generally accessible – everyone can review the ownership structure of the companies. Members of the Management Boards should immediately determine the beneficial owners in the companies managed by them.
